Pound for pound king Manny Pacquiao is set to fight Mexican boxer Antonio Margarito for the vacant super-welterweight title on November 13, 2010 at the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
It will be an action-filled fight come November 13 as Pacquiao and Margarito will give the audience their money’s worth. This will be the first fight of Manny Pacquiao since winning a congressional slate in the Province of Sarangani in the Philippines, and it is perhaps the first time that an elected official will be fighting in a high-profile boxing match. Antonio Margarito on the other hand, will also be fighting again since losing the world boxing title to Sugar Shane Mosley.
American trainer Freddie Roach reiterated his prediction of a Manny Pacquiao knockout win over Mexican Antonio Margarito during the second leg of the media tour for the November 13 fight.Roach said that his ward “will be the winner by knockout” at Chelsea Piers in New York City.“It’s a bold statement, but his skills are gonna be too much for Margarito,” the acclaimed trainer said as quoted by Michael Woods of TheSweetScience.com.
Margarito’s trainer, Robert Garcia, earlier proclaimed that they will score an upset over the 7-division world champion.
